SAFETY WHILE YOU DIVE
You are always going to dive with the responsible of the diving center. Both of them are instructors (Luca CMAS, Bibi PADI), their nationalities are Italian and thanks to their local experience, they will show you the best diving spots, in total safety.
From our point of view, punctuality is an element of distinction and pride but also a form of mutual respect between instructors and divers. Nevertheless, once you will be on the boat, you will never feel stressed, you will have your time and, if necessary, you will be assisted by our friendly staff.
The program of the diving week starts with the calmest diving and, over time, the difficulty level increases. In this way, you will have the chance to enjoy every single day of your holiday, even if it’s a while you don’t dive or you are a beginner.
Every instructor has a groEFTYup composed of 4 scuba divers. When it’s possible, in order to offer longer diving and a higher level of safety, the two instructors alike will dive with you. Thus, the possibility to see fascinating creatures or to identify the strangest organisms is doubled. Furthermore, the group can be divided between expert divers and beginner divers.
On the boat, divers can find fresh still water for free. We suggest drinking as much as possible so that problems related to dehydration and heat will be avoided. Moreover, just in case, a first aid box is available on the boat.
SEA SAFETY
Alethea is provided with a double motor, which decreases journey times and guarantees a safe return, even if one of the two should not work. In addition, the boat is equipped with a GPS, a depth sounder, a compass, a radio VHF and mobile phones.
On board of Alathea you will sail with all the safety devices required by European legislation.
The staff responsible of the boat, which has a high level of experience, has a constant control of the position. Our employees are professional and well trained. If there is the unfortunate necessity, as soon as it’s needed, they are able to contact first aid emergency.
Furthermore, on the boat a oxygen kit for scuba diving emergency is always available.
