Compressors
BAUER Verticus is what we chose to recharge our scuba tanks. BAUER is the world leader in breathing air compressors industry. Our compressor, or rather the one produced in 2013, is provided by a system, which monitors the saturation state of the filter cartridge, measuring also the degree of humidity present in it. Once it reaches the right saturation, the compressor blocks itself and it will not be possible proceed with the recharge until the filter will not be changed. The membrane placed for the NITROX production is calibrated in order to have a maximum oxygen percentage does not exceed the 34%. Having so the certainty to be in recreational diving limits.
Scuba tanks
Our scuba tanks are made in steel and they are provided by a dual outlet Y-valve, which is “int” and “din”. They were produced in 2013 and they are kept in perfect efficiency by a qualify personnel. The NITROX scuba tanks are clearly noticeable from the others, as required. When you use them you will personally check the oxygen percentage in the mixture, which will never exceed the 34%.
Rooms and recharge procedures
The recharge, both AIR and NITROX, is effected by a qualify personnel in a suitable atmosphere: ventilated and not contaminated by harmful gases. In fact, the compressor room is located in our tropical garden overlooking the sea. In the morning, the pressure in the scuba tanks is rechecked before the material is carried on the boat. compressor
