Females who should look after the young have a privileged access to food reserves and are never hindered by the other members of the group, in search of food.

A second of the zones, influenced by a climate and a different environment, lemurs may be more or less sociable. In some places they are used to living with humans and therefore are completely calm and cool even in contact with tourists and cameras. In other places it is difficult to capture the still image of a lemur because individuals are constantly moving, jumping from one branch to another, or hiding among the branches.

The lemur Makako (present on the island of Nosy Komba) exhibits a distinct sexual dichromatism, in fact blacks are males, while females are reddish or light brown; belongs to the family of Eulemur, along with Eulemur fulvus (present on the island of Nosy Tanikeli) and mainly fruit eaters
